At Shedd we’re looking for the best-of-the-best to become an integral part of the Shedd team. We are looking for those individuals who share our passion for what we do and will help to carry out our mission.
The John G. Shedd Aquarium internship program is designed to allow you to learn from the professionals, in a variety of areas throughout the aquarium. Whether you’re interested in assisting with animal care, marketing initiatives, education, human resources, or other areas, Shedd gives you meaningful, practical, hands-on experience to equip you with the knowledge and skill you will need to pursue your professional goals.
Who may apply:
- Undergraduate students (at least 1-year of college-level study)
- Recent college graduates
- Graduate students
Internship duration:
- Typically 12-week sessions (unpaid)
- Part-time and full-time hours
- Duration and hours vary with departments
